Or, maybe you’ve heard about the benefits of eating more plants so you’ve been trying but not with the success you’d hoped for. You might have low energy, rising cholesterol or blood sugar levels, or want to lose weight. This program will help you add more whole plant-based foods to meals you already enjoy so you can take control of your health one meal at a time.
Have you ever wished you could eat full plates of delicious foods AND get healthier at the same time? If so, this program is for you! It will teach you how to start eating a high-fiber diet - a delicious, scientifically proven approach that can lead to more energy, lower cholesterol, better blood sugar, and weight loss.
In this program, you will learn how to eat enough fiber so you can:
Have more energy
Lose weight
Control your blood sugar and reduce your risk of diabetes
Sleep better
Avoid diverticulitis
Lower cholesterol and reduce your risk of heart attack
Protect kidney health

Cost: $185.00 (this includes a workbook that will be mailed to you after you register)
When: Weekly on Thursdays from 12:00-1:15 pm ET/9:00-10:15 am PT beginning April 4th and ending May 23rd
Where: Zoom (you will receive the link upon registering for the program)
Class size: Up to 12 participants - registration ends on April 1st or when class is filled
Weekly sessions will include:
Guidance on and discussion around how and why to fill your plate with more natural water-fiber foods to meet your goals and improve your health
Concepts designed to help improve health through a small step approach
Goal setting to support your individual purpose for change
A welcoming and judgement-free community to provide support and encouragement in a positive way
Live cooking demonstrations and recipes

When: Weekly on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:30 pm ET/2:15-3:30 pm PT
Where: Zoom (you will receive the link upon registering for the program)
Classes will NOT be recorded.
Weekly sessions may include:
Guided mindfulness or meditation practice
Small group check-ins and discussions about progress and challenges and what is being learned as participants run weekly experiments
Short presentations on plant based eating and other lifestyle-related topics
Evidence-based strategies for building resilience and the capacity to make long-term behavior changes
Expert guest speakers to discuss thought provoking topics related to plant based nutrition, health, and mindset
Opportunity for participants to share their unique experience as they change their habits and health
Weekly goal or experiment setting
Throughout the program, participants will:
Explore & clearly define their unique health visions
Identify the health behaviors they want to consistently be doing
Set weekly SMART (specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and timebound) goals or experiments
Be provided with evidence-based information about the six pillars of lifestyle medicine: a whole food plant predominant eating pattern, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, avoidance of risky substances like tobacco, and positive social connections
Gain insights about themselves through the application of mindfulness, active listening, and self compassion
Support one another’s unique path to wellness without judgment
